Landcare ACT is delighted to bring you a new event on the ACT's spring Calendar - The Canberra Festival of Nature.

This year Landcare ACT is hosting the brand new Canberra Festival of Nature, showcasing the natural beauty of our local plants, animals and ecosystems during the spring months. With a range of different events including guided wildflower and bird walks, froggy fun nights, photography and nature journaling workshops, there’s something for everyone.

Designed as an umbrella events festival (similar to the Heritage Festival), the Festival of Nature allows for a range of Landcare and other volunteer groups and environmental organisations to offer a calendar of diverse events, centrally supported and promoted by Landcare ACT. After all, celebrating and promoting Landcarers is a big part of what we do as the peak body for community Landcare in the ACT.

The festival will run throughout the Spring of 2023.

Floriade Native Garden Display

Landcare ACT has again worked with our partners to bring you a Floriade garden bed dedicated to Australian Native plants

The theme of the Native Garden Display is Nature Wonderland which highlights the
beauty of native flowers and foliage, and its importance to our natural environment
including pollinators and native fauna. The display includes a range of plants
including cultivars that could be planted in a home garden. This display forms part of
the Canberra Festival of Nature.

We would like to thank the following sponsors for their support of the display - we couldn't do this without you!
